Stand in a stable position with your feet supported on or between two benches (depending on setup) while holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides. Keep your chest up, shoulders back, and core braced. Maintain only a very slight bend in the knees and keep it fixed throughout the movement. Initiate the movement by pushing your hips backward and hinging forward at the hips. Lower the dumbbells straight down along the front of your legs while keeping them close to your body and your back flat. Continue lowering until you feel a deep stretch in your hamstrings. Avoid rounding your back or turning it into a squat. Drive your hips forward, squeeze your glutes, and return to a tall standing position under control. Repeat for the desired reps.
