Barbell Single Leg Split Squat

A unilateral lower-body strength exercise performed with a barbell placed across the upper back. The movement involves standing in a split stance with most of the load on the front leg, then lowering the body by bending the front knee while keeping the torso upright and the rear leg elevated or lightly supported. The athlete pushes through the front heel to return to the starting position, emphasizing controlled balance, stability, and full range of motion.
