Reaching Down Triceps Stretch

Stand or sit upright with a neutral spine and feet about hip-width apart. Lift both arms overhead, then bend one elbow so that the hand reaches down behind the upper back. Allow the opposite hand to gently guide and support the bent elbow. From here, actively “reach down” the back by gently drawing the elbow lower while keeping the chest open and shoulders relaxed. Maintain an upright posture without flaring the ribs or arching the lower back. Hold the position while breathing steadily, feeling a stretch along the back of the upper arm and side of the torso. Hold for 15–30 seconds, then switch sides and repeat.
