Barbell Lateral Lunge

Barbell Lateral Lunge — Stand upright with a barbell positioned across your upper back and feet shoulder-width apart. Step out to the side with one leg, bending that knee while pushing your hips back and keeping the opposite leg straight. Lower your body until the working thigh is near parallel to the ground, keeping your chest upright and core engaged. Push through the heel of the bent leg to return to the starting position, then repeat on the other side — this exercise strengthens the lower body and improves side-to-side mobility and stability.
