Dumbbell Contralateral Forward Lunge

Dumbbell Contralateral Forward Lunge — Stand upright holding a dumbbell in one hand. Step forward with the opposite leg (contralateral side) and lower your body into a lunge until the front thigh is parallel to the ground. Keep your torso upright and core engaged to maintain balance. Push through the front heel to return to the starting position, then alternate sides while switching the dumbbell to the opposite hand. This exercise challenges coordination and core stability while building lower-body strength.
