Barbell Behind The Back Shrug

A variation of the traditional shrug where you hold a barbell behind your body and lift your shoulders straight upward toward your ears while keeping your arms extended. Stand tall with a firm grip and neutral spine, then raise your shoulders in a controlled motion to engage the upper traps. Slowly lower back down to maintain tension. This exercise isolates the trapezius muscles and improves upper-back strength and posture.
