Ankle Plantar Flexion

An ankle isolation exercise performed in a controlled position where the movement involves pointing the toes downward away from the shin. The exercise can be done using bodyweight or resistance (such as bands or cables) and focuses on moving only at the ankle joint while keeping the knee and hip stable. The motion is performed through full plantar flexion range with a slow, controlled return to maintain tension and improve strength and mobility in the lower leg.
